How we publish.

Last updated October 23, 2026 · Archline Labs LLC

Our endurance resource exists to help readers understand training and make practical decisions. Archline Labs LLC publishes it and also develops Ramp4x4, so we have a commercial interest in the app. The articles, calculators and printable resources can be used without downloading it or subscribing to email.

Evidence, observations and authorship

Training claims should link to the strongest accessible primary sources. We identify whether a conclusion comes from published research, a device estimate or our own observations. Original field notes describe the sample, method and limitations; a seven-workout example from one person is not a population benchmark. Articles identify the publisher or named author and show material revision dates.

Unless an article names a qualified reviewer, it has not been represented as medically reviewed. Software and AI tools may assist research organization, drafting and editing; they are not evidence. Archline Labs is responsible for source checks, disclosures and publication. See our research and editorial methodology for more detail.

Equipment articles

A useful recommendation starts with a training need and a budget. An equipment article should explain who a product suits, relevant alternatives and when buying nothing is reasonable. We will label hands-on testing separately from a comparison based on documentation and published specifications. We will not describe a product as tested without actually testing it.

Hands-on coverage should state the device or model, how long it was used, the test setting, relevant limitations and whether the item was purchased, loaned or supplied by a manufacturer. Research-only comparisons should identify their sources and the date specifications were checked.

Affiliate links and paid relationships

If a purchase through a link can earn us a commission, we will say so near that link or recommendation, before the reader clicks. Affiliate links will be marked as sponsored for search engines. We will also disclose free products, loans, sponsorships and other material relationships in the article itself.

Commercial relationships do not establish that a product works or is the best choice. Any sponsored placement will be clearly labeled. We do not sell subscriber email addresses or give them to affiliate merchants.

Corrections and updates

Material changes to advice, product information or source interpretation should update the article and its revision date. To report a factual error, outdated specification or unclear disclosure, email support@archlinelabs.com.
